Ulster Unionist MLA visited unique resort in Co Fermanagh

Fermanagh and South Tyrone MLA Diana Armstrong has commented on the vital role of local business support following a visit to Finn Lough, whose growth was boosted by Northern Ireland’s enterprise support service, Go Succeed.

Finn Lough is a luxury forest resort and spa situated on the Fermanagh Lakelands best known for its secluded “bubble domes” where guests sleep in inflated orbs under the stars.

During a behind-the-scenes tour of the unique forest retreat, Ms Armstrong gained firsthand insight into the entrepreneurial journey behind this award-winning business and the vital role Go Succeed has played in supporting its growth and development.

Speaking about the visit, the Ulster Unionist MLA and Economy Spokesperson, said:

Delivered through Northern Ireland’s 11 local councils, Go Succeed provides a range of services, totally free of charge, including mentorship, masterclasses, peer-to-peer networks, advice and access to grant funding, and a business plan.

Go Succeed is delivered free of charge through all 11 councils in Northern Ireland.

Reflecting on their experience with Go Succeed, Gillian Beare of Finn Lough added:

“The support we received from Go Succeed has played a crucial role in helping us to grow into the leading hospitality business that we are today. Thanks to the invaluable advice and guidance, we’ve been able to create new jobs and attract visitors from across Northern Ireland and beyond.

Fully funded until March 2026 following a £9.2million funding commitment by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), Go Succeed has already made a measurable impact on Northern Ireland’s economic fabric. In its first full year of operation, the service engaged almost 27,500 individuals and businesses, and delivered £2 million in grant funding.
