Yes, Go Succeed is for you and we can support you to develop your business idea. Go Succeed is the new go-to source for expert business advice led by Northern Ireland’s eleven local councils. Whether you’re a budding entrepreneur just starting out; are looking to grow your business; or are planning to scale up; our team of industry experts will provide tailored support and guidance to help you achieve your business goals.
We can support your business if it is legally registered in Northern Ireland. This includes online businesses that sell products abroad. Please talk to us about your circumstances if you are unsure.
Yes there will be some however if you make us aware on your enquiry form or telehandler, we will provide you with additional assistance
Yes, we will do out best to support you with additional assistance. Please let us know this on the online form or make the telehandler aware.
There are a range of online and in person masterclasses which you will be able to access. Your mentor will be able to advise you of which masterclass is best suited to your needs and within your local council area.
We will not support any business or business activity which is illegal, or which Go Succeed reasonably consider may bring it or the service, into disrepute. This includes businesses where there are ethical or reputational considerations such as gambling, money lending, adult entertainment, tobacco products , vape products or cannabis products not authorised as medicines, debt factoring, hire purchase financing; pyramid schemes; projects which have as their object the promotion of political or religious views; illegal or immoral activities. This list is not exhaustive and Go Succeed reserve the right to decide whether a business or business activity is ineligible for support.

This service is free of charge with funding provided from UK Shared Prosperity Fund. We can support businesses with grant funding however we do request a 30% match fund from the business. Your mentor will be able to advise you on this.

Go Succeed Start aims to support individuals who might have a business idea and who are thinking of starting a business. We can support you with masterclasses, access to grant funding, online business plan resources, one to one mentoring and peer support networks.

The Go Succeed Grant is for businesses currently accessing support via the Go Succeed service and who have identified a barrier to growth. You must have completed 50% of the mentoring with your mentor before applying and be actively trading. The grant supports businesses who are or who have the potential to become an employer business or social economy enterprise with a minimum of 1 full time employee and less than 50 full time employees.

There will be a number of peer support networks available in your area which your mentor will be able to provide details on and refer you to. These peer support networks may be focused on sectors, target groups or other themes which may be specific depending on what’s in your council area.

Go Succeed Scale is for businesses who can go onto generate at least £1 million in revenue after 3 years. Our Go Succeed Scale industry experts will help tailor your plans to penetrate new markets, identify investment opportunities and scale up your operations.
