Unlock the potential of your business through the Digital Transformation Flexible Fund

In Northern Ireland, we are an incredibly well-connected region. We enjoy robust digital infrastructure and high-speed broadband (both urban and rural), that puts us well ahead of other regions – an incredible platform to harness digital technology which will transform your business.

In fact, as a region, we are well on our way to almost total (99 per cent) access to full-fibre broadband.

For those looking to unlock the potential and bring their business to the next level, initiatives such as the Digital Transformation Flexible Fund (DTFF) can help. It has recently reopened to applications but time is limited expressions of interest set to close again on 12th July.

The DTFF aims to assist small and micro businesses in Northern Ireland by supporting their investments in advanced digital technologies.

It offers grants to eligible businesses to purchase essential equipment such as hardware, software and bespoke system development which is pivotal in digital transformation efforts.

To be eligible for the Digital Transformation Flexible Fund, your business must be:

  • Based in Northern Ireland
  • A small (10-49 employees) or micro business (1-9 employees)
  • VAT registered
  • Trading for at least 12 months
  • Have a ‘Digital Transformation Plan’ or equivalent to complete the application form
  • Developing a project centered on one or more of the six advanced digital technologies funded by the DTFF such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain Technology, Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, and Virtual Reality.

If you feel like you can improve your business through cutting-edge technology which will increase your business’  productivity, spur growth and improve customer experience, the DTFF might be the answer.

Funding is available between £5,000 and £20,000 for an investment project. If eligible, the grant can fund up to 70% of the cost of the total value of a project. Applicants must match-fund a minimum of 30% of the overall project costs.

If all of that seems daunting – let us help. Get in touch by completing our webform or by calling us on 0800 027 0639.
